Social Responsibility - Enhancing Organizational Mental Health - December 2024
"Corporate Social Responsibility is a moral commitment to society, in which organizations are required to act for the benefit of the entire community." The Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Spain has paid special attention to mental health as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Mental health within organizations is a modern concept that addresses not only individual and social mental health but also the mental well-being of the workplace. This approach enhances the quality of life for employees while also boosting the productivity and efficiency of organizations.
In this regard, the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Spain has begun collaboration with the Mehrak Ravan Center to provide specialized services in the field of organizational mental health.
During a meeting held on December 4, 1403, attended by Mr. Mohammad Taheri, President; Mr. Mohebbinejad, Board Member; and Mr. Khodabakhshi, Inspector of the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Spain, along with Dr. Zakeri, Director and Head of the Mehrak Ravan Center, the following topics were emphasized regarding the enhancement of organizational mental health:
- Increasing Organizational Resilience: Empowering organizations to cope with crises.
- Enhancing Employees Professional Skills: Improving individual performance and productivity.
- Developing a Positive Organizational Culture: Increasing job satisfaction and employee commitment.
- Stress Management and Burnout Prevention: Improving employees mental health.
- Improving Team Performance and Productivity: Enhancing coordination and collaboration among team members.
- Enhancing Managers Leadership Skills: Strengthening managers ability to create a healthy and dynamic environment.
During this meeting, the necessity of cultural development in the field of organizational mental health and the precise needs assessment of organizations were highlighted. Additionally, proposals such as sending a specialized delegation to Spain, holding workshops and seminars, and introducing the services of the Mehrak Ravan Center to the members of the Joint Chamber were discussed as key collaboration areas. With the implementation of these plans, it is expected that the productivity and performance of companies will increase.
