Presence of the President of the Iran–Spain Chamber of Commerce at the Building Industry Exhibition
Emphasis on Supporting Members and the First Step Towards Establishing a Trade Office in Spain

Participation in a Key Regional Event
In line with its approach to facilitating business relations between the two countries, the Iran–Spain Chamber of Commerce participated in the Iran International Building Industry Exhibition, held from August 18 to 21, in Hall 35. Recognised as one of the most significant events in the regional construction sector, the exhibition provided an important opportunity to present avenues of cooperation with Spain.

Meetings with Industry Stakeholders
During the event, Dr. Mohammad Taheri, President of the Chamber, visited the exhibition and met with business actors in the construction industry. In these meetings, he underlined the importance of the presence of Iranian companies in the Spanish market and highlighted the Chamber’s role in supporting its members as they enter target markets.

Outlook for a Trade Office in Barcelona
On the sidelines of his visit, Dr. Taheri also gave an interview in which he outlined the prospects for establishing a joint trade office in Barcelona and the functions it could provide for Iranian entrepreneurs.

Export Development Centre Initiative
One of the initiatives highlighted during the exhibition was the presentation of the plan to create an Iranian Export Development Centre in Barcelona. This project, supported by the Chamber and initiated by Molasadra Holding — one of its members — aims to provide advisory, marketing, and trade facilitation services for Iranian companies engaging with Spanish counterparts.

Building Foundations for Long-Term Cooperation
Dr. Taheri considers this initiative a step toward strengthening the infrastructure for bilateral trade cooperation. He described the Chamber’s presence at the Building Industry Exhibition as a valuable opportunity to familiarise economic actors with new paths of collaboration. According to the President, such a centre could significantly contribute to expanding commercial relations between Iran and Spain and pave the way for a more sustainable presence of Iranian companies in European markets.

Presencia del Presidente de la Cámara de Comercio Irán–España en la Feria de la Industria de la ConstrucciónÉnfasis en el apoyo a los socios y primer paso hacia la apertura de una oficina comercial en España

En continuidad con su estrategia de facilitar las relaciones empresariales entre ambos países, la Cámara de Comercio Irán–España participó en la Feria Internacional de la Industria de la Construcción de Irán, celebrada del 18 al 21 de agosto en el Pabellón 35. Este certamen, considerado uno de los eventos más relevantes del sector de la construcción en la región, representó una oportunidad destacada para dar a conocer las posibilidades de cooperación con España.

Durante el evento, el Dr. Mohammad Taheri, Presidente de la Cámara, visitó la feria y mantuvo encuentros con empresarios del sector de la construcción. En dichas reuniones subrayó la importancia de la presencia de las empresas iraníes en el mercado español y señaló el papel de la Cámara en el apoyo a sus socios para acceder a los mercados objetivo. Al margen de su visita, el Dr. Taheri concedió una entrevista en la que expuso la perspectiva de establecer una oficina comercial conjunta en Barcelona y las funciones que esta podría ofrecer a los empresarios iraníes.

Una de las iniciativas presentadas en la feria fue el proyecto de creación de un Centro Iraní de Desarrollo de Exportaciones en Barcelona. Este proyecto, respaldado por la Cámara e impulsado por Molasadra Holding —uno de sus miembros—, está destinado a brindar servicios de asesoramiento, marketing y facilitación de contactos comerciales entre empresas iraníes y socios españoles.

El Dr. Taheri considera esta iniciativa un paso en la consolidación de las infraestructuras de cooperación empresarial. Asimismo, valoró la presencia en la Feria de la Construcción como una ocasión valiosa para que los actores económicos conozcan nuevas vías de colaboración. Según el Presidente, la puesta en marcha de dicho centro podría contribuir al fortalecimiento de las relaciones comerciales entre Irán y España y allanar el camino para una presencia más estable de las empresas iraníes en los mercados europeos.
